But for GENIUS Act stablecoin reserves, BlackRock built two parallel US-registered rails on May 8, 2026: BSTBL (BNY/Ethereum/fiat wire) and BRSRV (Securitize/multi-chain/USDC). BUIDL won't die. It plateaus and the growth shifts.

BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund. $2.26B AUM (April 2026), ~18% of the tokenized treasury market. Circle's USYC overtook in January 2026, ending BUIDL's run from a 46% peak. Assigned Moody's Aaa-mf in May 2026, the top of Moody's money-market-fund scale and one of the first tokenized funds to reach it (jointly with Fidelity International's tokenized fund). Tokenized by Securitize. Launched on Ethereum, now on Avalanche, Arbitrum, Aptos, BNB Chain, Optimism, Polygon, and Solana. Tradable on UniswapX, accepted as collateral on Binance, Crypto.com, Deribit, and OKX.
